Memento 2001

A former insurance investigator who now suffers from anterograde amnesia uses notes and tattoos to hunt down his wife's murderer.

Plagued by a condition that erases his memory each day, a man embarks on a dangerous quest to find his wife's killer, relying on cryptic notes and permanent tattoos as breadcrumbs through a maze of deception. As past and present collide in non-linear fashion, he discovers that the truth may be far more complicated—and personal—than he ever imagined.
