Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy explains what information movietrailer.channel collects and how it's used. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site — pages viewed, general location, device type, and interactions like poll votes or button clicks. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember whether you've already voted on a movie's "Would you watch this?" poll, so you don't see it repeatedly. This data stays on your device and is not linked to your identity.

Affiliate Links

Some links on this site (e.g. "Rent or Buy" buttons) are affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We do not receive any information about you personally from these transactions.

Indie Submissions

If you submit a trailer for consideration, we collect your name, email address, and any details you provide, along with payment information processed securely through Stripe (we do not store your card details ourselves). This information is used solely to process your submission and is not sold or shared with third parties.
