The Running Man 1987

In a future dystopian America, a wrongfully accused and convicted policeman gets his shot at freedom when he's forced to participate in a TV game show where convicts called Runners must battle killers for their freedom.

Framed by the system he once served, a former lawman finds himself hunted for sport on live television while an entire nation cheers from its living rooms. Every broadcast turns his survival into entertainment, and the ratings climb as each chase grows more brutal. Can he outrun both the cameras and the professional killers sent after him?
