A Serious Man 2009
When life falls apart, even physics can't explain the answer
Larry Gopnik, a Midwestern physics teacher, watches his life unravel over multiple sudden incidents. Despite seeking meaning and answers amidst his turmoils, he seems to keep sinking.
A mild-mannered physics professor finds himself trapped in a downward spiral of calamity that challenges his faith and sanity. As he desperately seeks guidance from rabbis and professionals, each answer only deepens his confusion, forcing him to confront whether meaning exists at all. What begins as isolated misfortune becomes a darkly comic meditation on suffering and acceptance in an indifferent universe.
