Fargo 1996

A car salesman's inept crime falls apart due to his and his henchmen's bungling and the persistent police work of a dogged detective.

Jerry Lundegaard, a struggling car dealer in snowy Minnesota, cooks up a scheme that seems simple enough on paper. With a pair of hired hands who have little talent for the job, however, every step turns into a comedy of errors. Meanwhile, a soft-spoken police chief begins to pick up the trail, and she is far more methodical than anyone expected.
